![]() ![]() In DOSBOX use VGA graphic (mouse does not work properly in CGA). The version available on Underdogs (contains START.EXE) seems to be ok both in DOS and DOSBOX (well, almost - see below). The version released by the group "The Humble Guys" (contains ARBO.EXE, ARBOE.EXE) seems to be buggy, unable to save or load games (both in DOS and in DOSBOX). There seems to be more versions of the game on various abandonware servers. I installed DB in C:Prgram FilesDOSBox 0.73, but the status window says the cfg file is in the App' Data folder, which is either hidden or doesn't exist. I got a new one from Underdogs, but it does the same thing.Īlso, what's the code for calling an unique cfg file? I edited the default one, but the changes don't work. I tried saving under 'jarel', but it says 'disk full - press return' Renaming the 'default' file doesn't work either. I can 'ESC', so I guess it means it didn't crash. Now (using 0.73) when I try to save over the default file, the word 'default' glitches & will not save. The game ran fine in previous versions of dosbox. ![]() The last copy of C0A I obtained from gamebird.dk, a German abandonware site that has been down for a while. ![]()
